Originally formed by Hans and Harald Casper in 1872 as a family business, Casper Shipping Limited are proud to remain privately owned and family based.

We have developed throughout the decades to become the leading Port Agency Service provider in the North East of the United Kingdom, constantly re-inventing ourselves to meet new industry challenges.

Our head office is at the River Tees, we also have offices in Saltend, Immingham and Grangemouth covering these locations and ports/terminals in surrounding areas.

Casper Shipping adds value at every level, offering a complete, professional logistics service. Our core areas include Chemicals, Gas, CPP/DPP and Dry Cargo. As the markets have changed so has our business and we are now preferred agents for a number of International Project/Offshore principals. In addition we offer an end to end service which includes customs clearance, documentation, and demurrage analysis.

We have a vibrant and vastly experienced management team that has the drive, determination and passion required to keep Casper Shipping at the forefront of the industry, setting standards by which other Port Agents are judged, this is still the position as we move into new fields and expand our comprehensive list of services to our principals.

We believe that quality is paramount. All of our practices adhere to ISO 9001:2008. In 2005 we were the first shipping agent in the Europe to be audited by the Chemical Distribution Institute.
