Matthew Good sadly passed away on June 26th 2011 whilst running for charity. He was the Joint Managing Director and the 6th generation to work in the family business. John Good & Sons Ltd has been in business for over 175 years and is still family owned, with their core values driving it forward.

The Foundation was launched in July 2011 and will continue to operate in the way that Matthew and his family had already planned. The first project of the foundation will however be aimed at education and research into the issues surrounding his death.
