Institute of Chartered Shipbrokers North East New Chair – Catherine Moodie (FICS)

The Institute of Chartered Shipbrokers are pleased to announce the nomination of Catherine Moodie (FICS) as the new Chair. Catherine brings a wealth of experience and passion for the shipping community. She has previously been Chair of the INSTITUTE OF CHARTERED SHIPBROKERS, SOUTH AFRICA branch and is integral to the ICS globally, especially through her involvement in the ETC. We are lucky to have her on board.

On accepting her new position as Chair, Catherine said:

“I am honoured to take on the role of Branch Chair for the North East UK Branch of the Institute of Chartered Shipbrokers (ICS). I look forward to working alongside the Institute of Chartered Shipbrokers teams, our dedicated North East branch committee, and our branch members to raise awareness of the maritime industry with the wider communities, promote education and supporting the continued development of shipping skills, and encourage networking across our sector. ” 

There are exciting times ahead for the branch and we look forward to working with members, stakeholders and key partners, promoting growth for the branch and the development of the industry.
